Medication and Allergy Documentation
Surgery center leadership ensure that medications that the patient is taking, as well as allergies, are documented and reviewed prior to surgery. This standard is achieved through national accreditation by either Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) or Joint Commission (JC).
