Rate of ASC Patients Who Are Transferred or Admitted to a Hospital Upon Discharge from the ASC
An unplanned admission to a hospital after a procedure is an indication that the patient experiencing an unexpected serious complication during or after a surgery. There are many possible reasons, including uncontrolled bleeding or issues reviving the patient. This measure assesses whether the surgery center has any patients directly transfer to a hospital the reporting period.

- Outpatients (Patients who are admitted and discharged on the same day)
- Adults
